Indeed, since the beginning of time, men have tried to create temporal reference points and have observed the Earth and the Sky for this purpose. The Earth gave indications on the seasons. All regions of the world did not adopt the same methodology since there are indeed different possible sources of reference. There are different types of calendars, the most known and used being the solar calendar and the lunar calendar. Well, the Chinese calendar is a calendar based on both lunar and solar cycles: it is a lunar-solar calendar.
