Here, you’ll need to get out your compass to use the Bagua. As you know, it’s an invaluable map that can reveal specific creative zones in you. Each of these zones carries the potential for inspiration and innovation, ready to be activated to release a positive energy flow.
According to the 8 Aspirations School, the Bagua zone linked to creativity is located in the West, in the area called “Children – Projects”. Identify this area in your home or office. Once located, the crucial step is to activate it to unleash its creative potential.
The first step is to nourish the energy of the area with the Chinese element that characterizes it: metal. This can be metal elements such as industrial furniture, pewter vases, Tibetan bowls and so on. We can also use color: white, all shades of gray and also anything gold or silver. Round shapes are also preferred.
As Earth nourishes Metal, it’s also important to add color with shades of orange, yellow or terracotta.
Then, to activate the creativity zone, choose elements that resonate with your artistic passion. Inspirational works of art and creative symbols can be strategically placed. An art studio, however modest, can also be set up in this zone to materialize your need for creativity. In the Ba Zhai School, you also have a personalized zone (according to your Kua number). This is your “Sheng Chi” zone, known as “Creation and Wealth”. For example, if you were born in March 1974, as I was, your Kua number is 7. Your Sheng Chi zone is the Northwest. So this is also the metal element, and you can harmonize it as the West zone.
